Ultrasound Test

An Ultrasound test, also called Sonography, is a safe, painless, and non-invasive imaging test that uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of the inside of the body.

How It Works:

  • A small handheld device called a transducer is placed on your skin.
  • It sends sound waves into the body, which bounce off internal structures.
  • These echoes are captured and used to create live images on a monitor.
  • No radiation is used (unlike X-rays or CT scans).
